Cougar’s CDR007 drill rig, fresh from a complete overhaul at our Tomago NSW facility, is now back underground supporting methane gas drainage at Dendrobium. The overhaul extended the rig’s service life and delivered performance upgrades, ensuring reliable operation in the demanding conditions of underground coal mining. This demonstrates our capability to keep customer-owned assets performing like new.
Also featured in the video are Cougar’s Minecruiser personnel carrier and underground grader—both designed and manufactured in-house. The Minecruiser ensures safe, efficient personnel transport, while the grader maintains critical underground roadways to support smooth site logistics and protect fleet assets. Together, they highlight the role Cougar equipment plays in supporting productivity underground.
